A big Thank You from Funding Neuro and well-earned drinks in the club house for all who took part at Phoebe Flo Reid’s Memorial Golf Day, held at Pontardawe golf course, Swansea, in June 2017.
An amazing £1,425 was raised for our charity and vital funds to continue the battle to beat DIPG.
The summer event was organised by Phoebe Flo’s uncle, Colin Price, to remember a young girl, described by her family as a “beautiful, funny and a caring girl who brought joy wherever she went.”
Phoebe Flo passed away in November 2016 at the age of just five years old after a brave fight against DIPG.
Colin said: “A huge thank you to all who made it a brilliant day, from donating time and prizes, to turning up and supporting, and making it such a great day. What a team!”
Pheobe Flo was a pupil at Swansea’s Ysgol Gymraeg Brynymor Primary School in Swansea. She was diagnosed with DIPG in October 2015.
