To celebrate 10 years since our founder Bryn’s diagnosis with Parkinson’s, his launch of Funding Neuro, and all that the charity has achieved towards pioneering new medical research and supporting families affected with serious brain disorders, Funding Neuro will host a special “Wobbly Prom” this autumn!
A fun-packed dinner event will take place on Friday 29th September at The Crowne Plaza, Glasgow, from 7pm until 1am.
Hosted by TV comedian Sanjeev Kohli (Still Game, River City), the event promises to be a night of celebration, live music, entertainment, and fundraising in typical Funding Neuro style.
Never ones to do things by half, The Wobbly Prom will also see a guest appearance from the UK’s only working replica of the iconic Back to the Future car, the DeLorean. There will be a raffle for one lucky Prom guest to win a spin in the car.
Live music will be provided by 10-piece soul band Silver City Soul Revue and the Emmerdolls (Gemma Atkinson, Michelle Hardwick and Laura Norton from ITV’s Emmerdale).
Tables for 10 are £1,000, which includes a three-course meal and drink.
Dress code is Black tie or your best Back To The Future theme costume!
Prom Tickets can be purchased by calling Funding Neuro on 0141 530 4424 or contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
If you can’t buy a table at the prom, you can get involved by joining Bryn and friends to take Funding Neuro’s Summer Fundraising Challenge!
Here’s how it works – we’ve made it so easy for you, a team, or your workplace to get involved!
- Choose your fundraising idea.
- Try to raise £3,000 this summer.
- We’ll support you all the way.
- Collect your money!
For everyone who raises awareness of the work of Funding Neuro and reaches their fundraising target, we’ll give you a very special gift – a table for 10 family member, friends, or work colleagues at our special 10th anniversary Wobbly Prom in Glasgow on 29th September, 2017.
At Funding Neuro we have loads of fundraising ideas and know-how to share. Just pick up the phone or email, and we’ll be happy to help plan your own inspiring event or challenge. From dyeing your hair pink to scaling the heights of Kilimanjaro, everything is possible!
